Round Rock, Texas, located 15 miles north of Austin and with a population of around 105,000, is the 31st largest city in Texas. Thanks to a continued focus on business growth and economic development, major employers such as Dell, Sears Teleserv, Emerson and Texas Guaranteed Student Loan call Round Rock home. Additionally, the city is known within Texas and across the nation for its award-winning parks, safe school district and low property and utility tax rates. These factors as well as a variety of others have helped the community become one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation.

The Sticky Wicket

In an effort to continue to live up to its many accolades, the City of Round Rock realized it needed to not simply create a strategic plan, but also educate the residents and the community at large about its efforts and show the results of those actions. Like with many things, it’s easy to talk a big game, but Round Rock wanted to show that its actions are as loud as its words and what it says it’s going to do, it does.

Within the first five months of the Future Forward campaign, the theme’s of Water, Transportation, Finance, Public Safety and Parks have been promoted. Digital results for these efforts are as follows:
