Pi Beta Phi is a national sorority in the midst of celebrating its 150th Anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, the organization developed a particular logo and tagline to express the festive nature of the milestone and planned to use it in various marketing communications and event materials.

The Sticky Wicket

Given their widespread and diverse target audience, Pi Beta Phi needed a plan to ensure this momentous occasion got plenty of traction. With a logo mark already developed, the next step was laying out the details of the way the brand would be used in traditional and digital communications.

The Awesome Sauce

  • Development of a brand standards guide for the anniversary logo mark, including usage details, typography, color palettes and fonts
  • Designed complementary patterns and icons to further convey the celebratory nature of the occasion and increase the emphasis on the logo
  • Final designs incorporated the sorority’s symbol — the arrow — and confetti in a bold color palette
