Since its founding in 1808, Eatonton-Putnam County has grown into a unique and eclectic destination. Featuring a historic downtown district, a blooming arts culture and two lakes to float on, visitors and locals alike can enjoy a getaway to Eatonton-Putnam County.

R&R Did What?

In 2022, Eatonton-Putnam County partnered with R&R to enhance the Visit Eatonton brand through engaging materials to promote the destination and warmly welcome its visitors. Beginning with a new ad aesthetic for digital and print initiatives, the brand became unified, positioning Eatonton as a location that welcomes outdoor enthusiasts and arts and entertainment lovers. A comprehensive marketing experience has continued through copywriting, photo and video shoots, social media animations, brochures and more.

Eatonton Putnam County is full of adventures highlighting its history. Brochures, such as the Historic Walking Tour, are being developed to guide individuals through the historic experiences the town has to offer.

The Results

The establishment of the marketing experience has led to an elevated ad campaign, increased social media presence, the creation of holiday-themed materials and ongoing community and visitor engagement. In 2023, the digital ad campaign running on Google and Meta received a total of 9.54 million impressions, 126,912 clicks and a click through rate above the standard benchmark, showing that Visit Eatonton’s marketing materials have been positioned as a desirable destination for lake goers, adventure seekers and entertainment enthusiasts.
