Founded in 1870, Kappa Kappa Gamma is among the oldest of women’s Greek-letter organizations. Throughout the past 152 years, Kappas have boldly challenged themselves to pursue their potential by living generously and inspiring change in their communities. The Kappa Kappa Gamma General Convention is the venue for important sorority business, educational sessions, individual and chapter awards, and the voting of new or amended bylaws.
The Sticky Wicket
Because members were prevented from assembling throughout the pandemic, KKG staff wanted to design an elevated Convention experience that would spark connections amongst members and empower bold decisions through the theme, Be Bold. Be You. Be Kappa. This sweet reunion between new friends and old called for an equally dazzling venue in Palm Springs, CA.
The Awesome Sauce
- A dynamic Convention brand was created to mimic the excitement of members meeting in person again and pay homage to the venue’s unique and vibrant locale.
- The brand was built intentionally to allow KKG the ability to utilize specific components based on the day’s curriculum.
- A myriad of templates were created to help establish consistency across marketing materials and ensure ease-of-use across volunteers, staff and members.
