The St. Tammany Parish Tourist and Convention Commission was created on November 18, 1976. As a public, quasi-governmental agency, the organization is responsible for day-to-day administration efforts, visitor services, communications, marketing and public relations as well as sales helping to promote the area as a highly desirable destination and increase heads in beds.
R&R Did What?
A lot. Seriously, we had the opportunity to bring a whole new era of St. Tammany to life – starting with changing their dba name to Visit The Northshore, followed by a new brand, messaging system and suite of digital and print materials, we helped the tourist commission elevate their brand and firmly establish their purpose.
The tagline, Louisiana’s Easy Escape, bats an eyelash at the concept of the the “Big Easy” while simultaneously flipping the notion on its head. Inviting the visitor to get away and play.
Easy to discover and hard to leave
As Louisiana’s original vacation destination, The Northshore was created for moments and seasoned for memories. Through vibrant photography, captivating articles and a forward-thinking layout the bi-annual visitors guide serves up coffee table vibes and that sweet taste of the good life.
The comprehensive organizational rebrand started in July of 2022 and launched to incredible fanfare on June 15, 2023. Since the launch there’s been a palpable increase in Parish-wide pride and greater regional recognition of the Visit The Northshore impact. The new brand, and all that it encompasses, is influencing visitors and residents alike. Hats are donned in Instagram posts from out-of-state patrons, stickers are stuck on cars driving across the Causeway and our custom sail is being hoisted around the Parish.
