Their team of innovators is committed to the conservation of any and all history, which they believe is vital to society. Through the development of their proprietary Odyssey Preservation Software and digital museums, the organization has revolutionized the way history is saved and explored.

The Sticky Wicket

There are three severe dangers to history – fire, flood and forgetting. HistoryIT’s goal is to help mitigate those risks by providing a digital archive preservation solution. However, in order to save their history, organizations must be made aware of HistoryIT and all they have to offer. Which is where R&R comes in. During the second half of 2020, HistoryIT retained us to assist in building out a more comprehensive marketing and messaging experience, specifically targeting the non-profit and Greek communities.

The Awesome Sauce

Since mid-2020, we’ve worked with the HistoryIT team to establish a consistent visual aesthetic and increase awareness of their services among one of their newer niche markets. The resulting work includes:

  • Social Media: Increased following and content interactions across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • E-communications: Doubled the number of eblasts sent year-over-year and saw a 34% open rate on average per eblast
  • Print & Digital Collateral: Increased brand equity through the creation of a consistent aesthetic for presentations, holiday initiatives and packaging

A Decade of Saving History

On February 2, 2021, HistoryIT turned 10. That’s 10 years of stories. 10 years of hidden finds. 10 years of boxes. 10 years of archives. 10 years of saving. For this incredible milestone, we had the opportunity to re-imagine the HistoryIT brand and develop a suite of celebration-worthy assets. The modified brand you see below will be used by HistoryIT for the next year to commemorate their history and champion the innovations they have in store for the future.
