Don’t forget to pack your toothbrush…

Since it’s summertime, the three months of the year that beg for relaxation, it would only be right for the Rhyme & Reason Design team to try our hands at mixing business with pleasure.  Otherwise known as vacationing with an iPhone and a laptop.  You see with a virtual office and a start-up business, there is a lot of location flexibility, but not a lot of communication flexibility, which means the Wikipedia definition for vacation of being “a general leave of absence from a regular occupation for rest or recreation” does not take into account small business owners.

In the past month and a half, our team has managed to cover a lot of ground, while still keeping close tabs on things back at the “office”.  Karen has trekked, by bike no less, through the great state of Virginia, Erin has buried her toes in the soft-sand beaches of Puerto Rico and I have experienced the great American road-trip.  Seeing as we have enjoyed the stories of each of our adventures, we figured it wouldn’t be a bad idea to share how we each managed to keep our iPhones intact and still have time for some fun.

We like to see our blog stats increase, so we figured we would tempt you, our loyal followers, with this enticing introduction in hopes that you will wait with baited breath to find out what the Rhyme & Reason trio did on their vacations.
