Meet our new Graphic Design Intern, Heather Jenkinson!
As the new Graphic Design intern, I am so excited to be surrounded by such an amazing group at Rhyme & Reason Design! If you love what you do and do what you love, you will never work a day in your life, or so the saying goes. That’s why I am so happy to be a part of this team – my job truly doesn’t feel like one. I know there is some hard work and growth ahead of me, but I can say without a doubt that interning here will be an incredible experience.
I received my BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, or SCAD, as we call it. In five years I hope to be working for a design firm, or creating textiles for clothing. If I stick with the aspirations of my inner child, however, I will become a ballerina and moonlight as an astronaut.
Fun Facts:
I grew up in Michigan. If you ask me what part, I will hold up my right hand and point to the lower right section of my palm (you know, since the state looks like a mitten).
My favorite thing to do is curl up with a cup of hot tea and read a comic book. My new favorite series is Saga by Brian K. Vaughan.
My hair has been brown, blonde, red, white, and violet within the last year.
If I could, I would wear dresses and skirts everyday of the year, but I get cold easily so I am resigned to wearing jeans during the colder months.
