Rain, Rain Go Away

If you’ve tried to set foot outside in the last 6 months, you have inevitably noticed that our once dry and drought-ridden Atlanta has turned into a temperate rainforest. As I write this, I can hear the rumbling of thunder and the steady fall of raindrops outside our windows.

While I’d much rather be basking in the sunshine of a bright, summer day, a little (or a lot) of rain isn’t always a bad thing. The lakes are full, the grass is greener, and an overcast day is one of the best settings I’ve found for diving into design: logos, websites, brainstorming, you name it. Needless to say, I’ve found the silver lining in this thunderstorm cloud that has been circling Atlanta. But that doesn’t make this weather any less crazy and abnormal. Let’s take a look at some stats via one of my favorite artworks… the infographic.
